This fin is a prime illustration of that. It incorporates a wide base that transitions seamlessly to a narrow tip, and features a healthy amount of rake. Together these elements create a hybrid design. Its wide base provides a good amount of hold, while its low profile translates to forgiveness and versatility; it’s very responsive so you can get a bit more critical with it.
