Yater Apocalypse Surfboard Raffle: 12/5/18 - 12/14/18 (Now Closed!)

This surfboard was shaped by Renny Yater in order celebrate the launch of the Yater x True Ames Apocalypse Fin, as well as to raise money for a good cause. We are proud to say that 100% of the raffle ticket sales will directly benefit the Wounded Warrior Project thanks to Yater's donation.

Grand Prize: Yater Apocalypse Surfboard (Winner responsible for shipping - see details below), Yater Apocalypse Fin, Yater Apocalypse T-Shirt

Second Prize: Yater Apocalypse Fin, Yater Apocalypse T-Shirt

Third Prize: Yater Apocalypse T-Shirt

The Apocalypse surfboard model features the timeless simplicity and classic curves that Renny Yater is so well known for. This rounded pintail design was first shaped by Yater in the early to mid-1960's, but the model earned it's name after the shape was iconically used in the critically acclaimed film Apocalypse Now. Both the surfboard and the Apocalypse fin were extremely progressive for the era, lending towards greater maneuverability and the potential to really drive through turns...something that is still true today.

Together, Renny and True Ames have decided that all of the proceeds from the surfboard raffle will directly benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) has a big, audacious goal: to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. WWP offers 20 holistic programs to wounded service members and their caregivers completely free of charge and 100% of the funds raised through this event will go directly to Wounded Warrior Project to help fuel these programs.
