Local underground wonder-boy , Trevor Gordon, set out last year to rebuild an abandoned boat that he had found in a field. Over the course of a summer and with some help from friends and family, brought the boat back to life in hopes of finding uncrowded and secluded waves.
The ensuing project was then documented and edited into one of the most epic short films we've seen so far this year, "Camel Finds Water". It's quite refreshing to see a community come together to help create a film that transcends surfing and boatbuilding. The film has us literally itching (with fiberglass) to get our own hands on an abandoned craft to bring it back to life.
