Designed by Christine Brailsford Caro, the Furrow the Samsara Twin is a low area fin designed to compliment narrow tailed twin fins. The template balances base to height with generous rake to create a fast and loose fin that hold well and provides easy release.

HISTORY & ORIGIN

Christine’s journey into shaping began with her creative roots as an artist and designer, evolving from wood carving and custom paipo boards into full surfboard craftsmanship at Furrow Surf Craft. Inspired by transitional era designs from the late 1960s and informed by her artistic sensibilities, she brings clarity, flow, and sculptural finesse to every shape she makes — emphasizing fluid glide, smooth rail-to-rail surfing, and minimalist form. Based in Leucadia and shaping out of the legendary Moonlight-Christenson glassing factory, Christine draws on mentorship from legends like Marc Andreini and the influence of innovators such as George Greenough, blending tradition with her own creative vision. Her boards are hand-shaped expressions of both surf history and personal art, crafted to foster effortless connection with the wave.
